and not

3. Driving a motor vehicle in a manner that indicates an intention to spin it or cause it to circle, without maintaining control over it.

But even then, this is the WRONG application of the law. You weren’t drifting. You weren’t doing donuts. The cop misused the law - as many have done before and as many will continue to do until this law is repealed.

This is, of course, assuming you are telling the whole truth and not conveniently forgetting some incriminating part of the story.

You’re fucked out of at least the impound and towing fees. Don’t expect to get that money back.

But it sounds like you have a solid chance of totally getting off on the S.172 charges (the stunting and/or racing).

It’s clear this cop (or his partner who counseled him) was a fuckn douchebag who had idea how to properly enforce this section of the law.
