your timing is way off, cylinder #1 will be at TDC 2 times, are you sure you have it timed right

Nah it was way off! We fixed it today by lining the pinhole on the distributor gear, with the notch on the distributor.

It started but then the rpms jump from 500-1000 rpms in idle, until in slowly dies.

In timing we are fully retarded( no more space to retard more).

make sure you have the oil pump sit in the right location for the distributer

Dude stop waisting time and buy a timing light.
If you have spark and have fuel whats inbetween?

On a ka…TIMING!

Go get a timing light, get someone who knows how to use it, start cranking, and get someone who knows how to check the timing light. Your timing is off…hence your motor not turning over. Its hitting each cylinder at the wrong time.

You fucked up somewhere along the lines of putting the dizzy and tdc back.
