Ok so i had to replace the distributor, but I didnt know anything about marking ish and yes I know i fucked everything up :banghead:
I basically took out the old, put the new in. And the car wouldn’t start.
Read all this stuff about timing, and realized what a catastrophe I caused but I tried doing this
Setting the timing to TDC(I went by the marking for tdc on the pulley, by turning the crank with a socket)
Then pulling out the distrib, setting it to fire@cyl 1
Then bolt it all up and START! - no
Sounds like it might be heavy flooded? Or still just way off timing?
