not2sure wat u mean 2do, but pm me. was thinkin of altering my timing but was being cautious with my dd.
Im looking for someone to assist me, sorry for the mis-communication.
Take out your distributor, and re-seat it according to the FSM
Then follow the instructions in the FSM on how to adjust/set your timing.

I’m not mechanically inclined, now i was just cleaning off the contact points within the distributor. simple correct?
well at the same time my friend was playing with the ground (battery)
after plugging everything back, whether a problem on my end or his, i just cant get her to start over!
she’s turning, backfiring, but no go …
Erm, double check to see that you put the spark plug wires on the proper spots on the distributor.
checked multiple times !
could there be anything else?

is the power wire hooked up to the dizzy alright?
all 4 spark plug wires going to the right plug/distributor spot?
distributor properly bolted on?
