used, 1/4 mile but driveable anywhere. nothing stays stock at my house, would like something a little different, weekend toy.

A lot of different kinds of cars can be had for 25k. All depends on what you want in terms of comfort. A stupid fast Honda or Foxbody could be had or a ballin’ ass S600 that with a tune (granted, a 6,000 tune) can trap 123. Plentyyyy of options.

thing is, i know corvettes and am unfortunately all to familiar with their issues. limited power production on stock motor and EVERYONE has one.

Bang for your buck you can’t beat the EVO. You can get them for like 16K now. 19K for a really clean one. Few K in mods and your in 11s, 10s.

Ok you asked for best bang for the buck. Not best bang for the buck but also rare.

If rarety is an issue, you could find a high mileage Supra for that price, BMW M3, RX7, etc

LSx RX7s go for low to mid 20s (clean).

get a nice chevelle roller. late LS swap, turbo, big disk brakes all around, slammed out on sick ass 19 front 20 rears.

for 25K it be a pretty high mileage questionable TT 6speed car.

I would also not be buying a car with a super involved swap (LSx RX7) for 25k
