04 Spec V Sentra

Oil pressure, and water temp btw. As far as modding goes, it’s more of a hobby/passion for me. I like my ride to be unique and take some pride in the fact that I’ve done it all myself. The header is a definite necessity due to shitty pre-cats, they’re waaay too close to the engine and cause internal damage due to the fact spec’s don’t have EGR valves and recirc through the valve train, thus inhaling the guts of the pre-cat. Butterfly’s are a no brainer. Controllable secondaries and fuel maps a MUST, lol. Just kidding, I just like to tinker and my car is my only victim.

You still have the AFC Neo or do you Have a AFCII now?

Still have the NEO.

Had any problems with it? I got one with my Kit but have heard horror stories about it. So I sold it and got AFC II.

Haven’t had any issues. I used it in my old Skyline for 2 years almost, and in my Spec since I’ve bought it about a year or so ago. As long as it’s wired properly, there should be no probs. What kinda stories have you heard about the NEO?

There are stories on MySpecv.com I also wanted the knock feature on the SAFCII

UPDATE: new lowering springs and a set of KYB GR2’s will be installed in the next few weeks. I will post up pics as soon as my goodies arrive. I am also adding some boost as well. Just in the process of finding a decent turbo kit, should have that ready just in time for spring ( I’ll post build pics when it gets here)

Hah nice. So what springs did you go with? And what kit are you looking at?

Going with some I found on the webernet. A.G. is the brand. http://www.ag.com.ar/ingles/index.html As for the REAL goodies, either Treadstone or Turbonetics, haven’t decided.

New KYB goodness. Springs arrive tomorrow (i hope). Only paid $250 for the set, not too bad for slightly better than stock.

Springs are here:

Sooooo, I finally got my lowering springs done. The car is way more responsive now, I love it! I also added an H.I.D. kit as well. It is 6000K if I remember, and what a HUGE difference! Only took like 15 min to install too. I’ll post up some pics of the new HID’s as soon as I get a chance to wash my car. I got a little ambitious and sanded the backs of my instrument cluster. Looks way better and brighter, I’m gonig to do the HVAC controls next.
