Well I have tried my luck on various Subaru forums, and there is a ton of interest but I just can’t find a close to or local sale so I’ll try here.
I have a 2004 STi EJ257 shortblock that I am looking to sell. The motor was in my 04 STI up until a couple of weeks ago. It was removed because cylinder #4 had 60% leakdown. All other cylinders were fine. The block had 29k miles on it. I imagine their could be some scoring on the #4 cylinder and it may need to be bored, not really sure and didn’t really care as the motor was fully replaced under a warranty. $550
I will not part out any of the block. I will have pictures up by the weekend or sooner. As for price, it is obo. I have researched what it goes for and I’d say its a good deal. But I just want it gone so that’s why they’re obo. The warranty company doesn’t want it and neither do I. I will ship at total buyers expense and I only take paypal.
