The original GTO was a high performance option for the Tempest. Never resembled a GP until 73 when the LeMans grew into a tank. 74 went to the Ventura aka Nova.
I actually meant that… 2nd gen GTO did. But they do have a history of being a like
A torque monster and 400 HP… with these little comestic changes I’m really warming up to the car (except the 35k price tag). I don’t mind them calling it a GTO at all… It’s RWD, has a powerful V8 in a bigger coupe. Works for me.
