I never put a formal WTB so here it is. I’ve been checking ebay/autotrader/vetteforum/cars.com/craigslist and haven’t found what I want yet. If anybody knows of one let me know.

The ideal is a silver 2008 2LT Z51 with 60k on it, but I’ll consider any.

Dealers welcome, I’d be trading in an EOS with 35k.

I know someone that just got a 08 with 5K miles for 30K ish just have to look around. There is a nice red one here in Texas with a blower for 34K. I’ll drive it up for gas money.

Just curious, why an 06 but not an 05? They are literally identical other than a little GM badge on the side.

2nd production year vs 1st. I’m looking for the same car myself. I’m looking for 08 z51 though.

The 2005 has a horrific looking steering wheel that is enough reason. I think there are also some other subtle differences.
I was really hung up on getting an LS three until I read that the LS two was under rated and the reality is that an LS two verse and Ellis three car are only a couple tenths off in the quarter-mile. Still I agree that a cyber gray 2009 LS 3 Z51 would be about the perfect car for me to find

Anything over 30 cuts into my racing budget too much but if you can find me something 30 or less I would happily pay you to drive it up thanks

The 05 has a shitty rear end, interior and 4l65 trans for an anto. I would only get 06+ as well, preferably 08+.

The LS3 is a much better engine…

If you have doubts just compare cam only numbers between a LS2 and LS3

There are a number of other upsides to 08+

Seriously I’ll check the car out and drive it to buffalo for gas moneys. I need to get my $30k cavy down here. I’ll trailer it for the right $$
