The church that owned the lot next to it bought it up and is rumored to have a Tuesday night cruise night with no alcohol. Still haven’t heard the final word on it yet.
Summit Park had its moments. Young Falls kids are annoying as shit. Falls Chicks are tough. I usually hung out on the classic car side anyways since a kid with a beat to shit 88 Beretta with 6 different colors and a vinyl window sticker would park on the far side.
I’m working on the 2006 cruise night listings and should have them up on wnycarclubs.com and rodandpiston.com in the next few days.
sunday nites is taffys, kinda unofficially but its a good time, usually a good turn out

I just hope we have some good nyspeed meets. Theres enough hot cars on here both import and domestic that if we get a good turn out could be a blast.
Someone should make a post for us to brainstorm on different meet ideas for this year, like meet locations, track day, yada yada. Im too lazy to do it :tup:
Im always down for a cruise night, its so much better when we all get together then to go to these and end up parking next to a neon sign or bass machine

:word: but there was still some good stuf there from time to time, and watching people beat their cars to death during burnouts could be entertaining at times. like when the ford truck started on fire, and after it ws out i went and wrote “ford” in the extinguisher mess on teh ground … the trucks owner was less then happy about that

taffys is always a good time, and the owner of the place doesnt care what gos on, as long as we leave parking near the building for his in-n-out customers, and despite being dark, its still posible to get good pictures. in fact, i like the way night shots come up
I went to summit a few times but when i put my car over in “the Fast and Furious” aka rice i was told my car wasnt custom enough because i didnt have a system or a body kit but when i asked him what kind of car I had he couldnt tell me. I had more comments on the car over on the muscle side

They should divide summit better, organize the cars better
I went to Summit for entertainment purposes only. I never exepect to see anything impressive, EXCEPT for the Skyline that was there a couple times last year.
