I agree with others on here. Why waste your money on a Viper if what you want is a ZR1.
It’s going to be cold in a few weeks anyways and you wont be able to do squat till April anyway. I’d sit on that decision for awhile.
But if it were me, both are sick cars… be a tough choice. I’d have to drive both.
I don’t think he would ever drive a civic :lol
Get teh viper
I wish I was in a position where I couldnt decide between these two cars. Thats never going to happen.
That being said go with the ZR1. Ive never cared much for Vipers and I dont fit in them. I tried driving one and didnt fit in it comfortably enough to use the pedals and drive it.
Get in the mindset and it will happen.
yup to negative. work hard and save money
Yea. I once put in my head that I would have a house, with a decent sized garage and a Supra inside. I have it now. And I payed for all of it.
Negativity breeds failure.
+Eleventy Billion.
I try as hard as I can to save money but Ive got a bunch of bills and every time Ive got a bit of extra cash something breaks on my cars and Ive gotta use what I saved.
I was able to pay cash for my Mustang back in '06 because back in '05 I was working 70 hours a week and not spending much and didnt have nearly as many bills.
exactly, I said id like to own an 03 cobra, I worked my ASS off now I and my parents didnt pay for any of it. And i have a nice daily too. Put your mind to it and you can pretty much do it all.
well put, if you work your ass of and put your mind to it, you can have anything you want, within reason. I was always MADE to work by my parent when i was a kid and hated it, never had a normal summer break from school, now i look back and love it, i see that its made me have great work ethic and makes me strive to better all my toys!
I hear yah on the bills part of it, and hard to ever get ahead, my bills are retarded, but i realize I put my self in that position, i look at it like i could live today and die tomorrow, and i dont wanna have any regrets. And as for my parents haha they never even co signed a loan for me, everything i had since iv been 15 iv bought for my self. Some times there even in shock about how i blow money like water.
Now back to the Viper, to me its only another car i can add to my portfolio, i know my z sure isnt the last car ill ever buy so im kinda thinking i might pull the trigger, if i dont like it, what ever ill keep it for a year and swap it then.
You cant buy the viper, i didnt kick your Z’s ass yet :lol ;D
^Wowowowowowow
Yeh… responsability changes people, but those that play, play. Life is best as a player, hell, I been playing since the 70’s.
I saw Star Wars at least 8 times
Had the pac-man pattern memorized
And I’ve seen the stuff they put inside
Stretch Armstrong
I was Roger Stauback back in my back yard
Had a shoebox full of baseball cards
And a couple of Evil Kinevil scars
On my right arm
Well, I was a kid when Elvis died
And my mama cried
Chorus:
It was 1970- something
In the world that I grew up in
Farrah Faucett hair-do days
Bell bottoms and 8-track tapes
Lookin’ back now I can see me
And oh, man did I look cheesy
But I wouldn’t trade those days for nothin’
It was 1970-something
It was the dawning of a new decade
When we got our first microwave
And Dad broke down and finally shaved
Those sideburns off
I took the stickers off of my Rubix cube
Watched MTV all afternoon
My first love was Daisy Duke
In them cut off jeans
A Space Shuttle fell out of the sky
And the whole world cried
Chorus:
It was 1980-something
In the world that I grew up in
Skating rinks and Black Trans Ams
Big hair and parachute pants
Lookin’ back now I can see me
And oh, man did I look cheesy
But I wouldn’t trade those days for nothin’
It was 1980-something
Now I got a mortgage and an SUV
But all this responsibility
Makes me wish sometimes
Sometimes…
chorus:
It was 1980-something
In the world that I grew up in
Skating rinks and Black Trans Ams
Big hair and parachute pants
Lookin’ back now I can see me
And oh, man did I look cheesy
But I wouldn’t trade those days for nothin’
It was 1980-something
1970-something
Aw, it was 19-Something
Tony, I’ve had a near death experience (no exaggeration), so i’m right there with you. I think what we drive proves our ‘live now’ attitudes. You have a lot nicer stuff then I do, but I feel ya homie :hug
LOL MARK WILLIS AGAIN ???
lol @ turbomagic
Depula has a orange ZR1 sitting in its showroom Tony. Im sure you know that.
I went and looked it over last week while I got some parts. In person, the car is overwhelming. The carbon fiber showing on the roof panel and the massive brakes. :ohnoes
Sticker was 118,xxx. ;D
yah i saw the zr1. i went down there wednesday night, they wanted 50 over sticker and i pretty much laughed and left, to make a long story short, one of the sales men recognized my buddy keith who was with me and they called him early thursday morning to get my #, when i answered the salesman was like " would you be interested in the zr1 for 10 over" i told him hes getting there but im not a huge fan of paying sticker moreless over. 118 plus 10 now were at 128 w/o tax and they wanted to smash me in the head on my trade in. Where i bought one of my viper trucks they offered me 10K off sticker and 10k more on a trade. i think ill be waiting on the zr1 until i can get a reasonable deal. I come from a family business and i under stand they have to make $$ but depaula wants to make 35K plus on 1 sale, thats insane in this economy, i told him not to be greedy and we could make a deal but it was a NO, so we’ll see im not 100% sure im ready to get rid of my z yet, so we’ll see…maybe there will be a brand new viper this spring.
