It’s a good point, except for the fact that recidivism rates are much higher for sex offenders than any other crime. Many times it is not a matter of if a sexual predator will attack again but when. Personally, I’d like to see them get mandatory life sentences for any serious attacks (really young children etc), but the liberal front in this country would never allow it. So sense they have to be released eventually that’s why we have Megans Law.
