are the numbers below indicative of the “degrees” of this crime in NY? if so, the 1st degree would be the “worst” and most punishable… so by these numbers, that means that an 18 y/o having sexual relations w/ a 12 y/o is worse than a 21 y/o having sexual relations w/ a 13 y/o.

#1 Luck had nothing to do with it. He should have paid better attention to where he was putting his penis. Jail is not the worst thing that can happen to you for putting your penis in the wrong place.

The notable exception being that in the south, white racists identify themselves by displaying the flag of a failed union of racist men on their bumpers and hats. I have not researched Marcus Dixon’s legal case. I don’t think that a comparison to this case has any more merit than a comparison to my brother in law’s. You may have researched the Dixon case, but I bet you don’t know all of the factors of THIS case. Without those details, its kind of hard to judge with rightious indignation.
I have lived in NY and I do live in the deep south. That doesn’t make me an expert in N vs S race relations, but I don’t see how you being black with a white girlfriend and courses in PS makes you one.

My point here is that while you might have strong feelings about the Dixon case, they probably aren’t relevant to the facts of this case and that any comparison you draw is flawed.
I heard on the news the other day a case where an 11 year old girl had sex with a 10 year old boy and she got pregnant. They were talking about how the girl was going to be convicted of child molestation.
i was bangin 13 year olds when i was 15…14 when i was 16 and 15 when i was 16…who cares its a two year difference…

a little off topic, i think that far too many people complain about race issues today. yes they exist. so what. they will never completely vanish. some people hate the rich, some hate the poor. some people detest women. some hate on races. none of us are perfect, we all have obstacles to overcome.

I just watched part of the documentary on this…the girl was black too. The DA used the excuse that he would have been called a racist even if he didnt press charges cause then he wasnt looking out for the best interests of the young black girl :bloated:
