he does his share of football, track, and riding quads. All things that seem to attarct girls more these days. Hell the boy must be a man whore or something, he has had girls calling the house for him since 1st grade. Last I checked that was 6 years old. And by 8 years old he had girls asking him if he wanted a BJ, that was a major decideing factor for when he got the talk. I sorta figured I would rather him get the talk from me than some 8 year old girl that has watched way too much of the wrong TV shows when her parents were no where around to parent her.

here is what i think is going on, and feel free to disagree with me, i didn’t read through all the posts in this thread, but i read plenty of them. A lot of us on this forum are in at least our mid to late twenties, i for instance am twenty five. Nos if i think back twelve years ago or so, i was in 6th grade. Things were way different, i mean of course i snuck porno mags, hell my friends and i even got caught trading them back and forth in school ( you want to talk about embarassing?). But we were looking at mature women that had come into their own because the girls our age didn’t have boobs or the adult looks we liked. Now in todays world with kids being so much more advanced it’s not uncommon for a 6th grader to be way past a training bra, and wearing the kind of clothes she sees hoochies on MTV wearing. I have an 11 year old sister n law, and i think she is at any given time moments away from sex. When we were that young, that thought was the most far fetched fantasy we had. Today it is reality, kids are having sex, they are unable to control their hormones. They act out because of it. Watch an episode of maury or springer, or any of those daytime shows, young girls want to become pregnant, giving them selves away. They have no idea what they are getting themselves into. I am the proud parent of a 6 year old boy, and 10 month old girl, and i still don’t always know what i’m getting myself into with these kids. I think in this situation there is a lot of fault to be placed on the parents. I mean obviously there is no way a 13 year old can support a baby, it’s just not possible. So of course grandma and grandpa are going to have to save the day. And trust me i never think abortion should be the first thought, but in certain circumstances like rape, or a situation like this, perhaps that may have been the best route. I mean this new baby is going to be well into elementary school before dad can even go to a bar and have a drink. The dad will be trying to finish college and put money away for his kids college at the exact same time. It is an unfortunate circumstance for these young kids. I don’t feel that they were in the wrong for having sex, sex is natural, it is in our genetic makeup. Without it our species doesnt exist. And it was a one in a million chance that the girl would even get pregnant, but it happened. Kids are going to experiment, think back in your lives, to the first time you smoked a ciggarette, or tasted a beer, or your first kiss, it’s all experimenting, these kids just got a lowsy deal out of it. Had she not gotten pregnant, none of us would even know about them having sex. Think of it that way, it could have happened to a lot of us, luckily for myself it didn’t, and i didn’t have kids til i was slightly more prepared. Ok i’m starting to ramble. true, now i know citing them wasn’t really take a cut from the norm, however there are plenty of people like that that never make it on those shows.
