There is no bond stronger than that of a parent and child. No greater bond than between a mother and son or a father and daughter. Fathers spend their entire lives trying to protect their daughters from all the bad things in the world. In the process of protecting their daughters, they influence their daughters in every aspect of their lives. A father tells his daughter you look pretty today… the outfit she was wearing will now be her favorite because Daddy likes it. These influences start very early in life. Our beautiful 9 month old daughter, that we prayed we would get when we decided to get pregnant for the third time, who Mommy is so excited to have so she can wear pretty dresses and have long hair to play with, said her first word on Wednesday… The first word we have been waiting 9 months to hear. She put her fat little hand out and pointed outside the Bank Window, at the road and said… Plain as day…
Thank you… but they are Daddy’s eyes… not mine… I have Hazel eyes. I keep crossing my fingers that Steph’s eyes will still change… but I think I may be dreaming.
