Saw this while I was there. If the Camaro hadn’t blown the tires off it would have been that Honda’s ass lol. Definitely an awesome race to see. It started out as a $1,000 pot and through all the shit talking it went to $5k and eventually $15k. Crazy. lol

I’ll say this also, since I was there. Leading up to this race, it seemed like the right lane was hooking better all day. I saw several cars leave on the rear bumper from that lane and also saw several people blow the tires off in the left lane. Either way, it doesn’t matter because the S2k won, but not because it was the “faster” car.

That Camaro hooks 9.9 times out of 10 on a drag radial. It also trapped almost 15mph more if I remember correctly letting out twice. There was also an oil down a pass or two before in the left lane. That S2K literally got lucky and he knew it after.
