Nobody said the S2k wasn’t a fast car, just that it wasn’t the fastest car in this race. The fact of the matter is, the S2k won, however if the Camaro hadn’t blown the tires off trying to get out of the hole it would’ve been a rape fest on this particular race. If you can’t plainly figure that out from the video, or in my case- being there and seeing it in person, you’re fucking retarded.
No need to twist up the word “fast”. It was a race to 1320’. It traveled the 1320’ faster than the Camaro.
My point is the s2k had a bad pass as well. Clearly he lost it on the launch as well. Had either car had a solid launch while the other one didn’t it would have been a rapefest. 2 Comparable cars both had bad launches, if you can’t see that while you were there you are fucking retarded.

S2k clearly let off or something. No way that camaro should have made up 5 cars in the last 16th of a mile. Good race though.
5xx CI engine and an 88mm will do that. Like I said, that Camaro is a 190mph car and that s2k went 170’s. Watched them both run all weekend. S2K won in the end. It’s and all aside.

Track prep was actually awesome that day. Camaro had tested a few times and ran great. Must of turned up the wick a little bit previous to run and it just blew the tires off out the hole. There was also an oil down a few passes before. I was lining a friend up same day same lane and my shoe pulled off the prep was so good.
