The other day something happened to my power window motor (drivers side 180sx). The motor does work, you can hear it spinning, but it seems like the motor axle is no longer connected to the gearing, so the motor just turns and does nothing. The window slides down on its own now.
I have looked at it with the door panel off, and it looks really hard to get to without cutting door bracing. Has anyone swapped power window to manual? I’m thinking I might go this route.
