Probably 50x that number of cars crashed into other cars… and they are a lot smaller… and moving targets… never understood the fascination with cars hitting buildings… it’s not that crazy…
I guess the fact that its usually a standing object thats not going anywhere, as opposed to 2 vehicles making the chance of a mishap/crash. Sorta like saying…“well that wasnt there a minute ago.” Cant really say that about a building. lol
forget shit like what? where they placed there car keys, wallet? to call a friend back, something on the grocery list. Your kid is not “shit” that you forget. No matter how many joints you smoke does not factor into you leaving your baby on the roof of your car while you drive away. I’ve seen people do stupid stuff while smoking and most of it is comical…this is a 19 year old girl who’s still a kid herself being irresponsible. Obviously she would rather the public blame the pot she was on then her own stupidity and lack of mothering or human skills for that matter.
If she was drunk, would you change that statement at all?
how can you compare the two though when it comes to being forgetful and being irresponsible for your child’s safety?. Obviously alcohol is going to have a much greater effect on the body then marijuana would. But that isn’t the point its the fact that Pot was to blame and not her pure stupidity. When people talk about this story its going to sound like this “oh you hear about that girl leaving her kid on the roof of her car, she was high on pot you know…that stuff will make you forget and do crazy things” So what if she just forgot? regardless of her mind state…what if she just is a stupid young girl who shouldn’t be caring for a kid.

The pot took the fall instead of incompetence, irresponsibility, forgetfulness, and child neglect. I guess it effects people in different ways…but something like this is inexcusable.

i dont see how anyone can blame the pot here. that’s like blaming the gun for shooting someone, not the person who pulled the trigger.
also, can we stop calling it pot? marijauna should never be referred to in any literal sense, it should always be referred to using slang and never referred to by the same slang more than 3 times in a row
if i use ‘ganja’ the next guy can but then the 3rd guy has to change to ‘spliff’, then the third guy after him has to change to ‘joint’… then maybe we can go back to ‘ganja’ or ganja’ or a variation thereof but never as pot or marijauna unless you’re an idiot reporter or speaking seriously about it as done above in this post.
pot probably put her in a state where she was more likely to do something like this. does this make the pot the culprit? no, she is, but without the pot it might not have happened.
just like a gun is not at fault when somebody gets shot but going into a bank and pointing your finger at people and yelling “bang” won’t kill anybody because you don’t have a gun.
