I lol’d
I’d advise avoiding this- even for your girlfriend (even if you hated her)
Just Google “Vietnamese Vespa”
OK, I saved you the trouble-

Just a heads up. Caveat Emptor.
you’re a dick.
Ok, if you don’t know what you’re talking about, shut the hell up. This machine is uncut and in excellent running, driving condition. I guess you missed the correct Piaggio badging, and this machine is painted to match my girlfriends other motorcycle. Don’t blow up someone’s ad just because you think you’re smart.
He was just throwing out some info, that i as well as many other on this board prob found helpful. No need to get so defensive, and i can see where he is coming from because the vespa being sold appears to have alot of the aftermarket chrome/flashy pieces to it.
Price seems a bit high, compared to others but GLWS, Throw it on craigslist…
>P.S. That rear spare tire holder looks really neat!
No, he was being an asshole shitting in somes classified ad. Prime Internet douchebaggery.
I ran a vintage scooter shop for 6 years, so I know what I’m talking about.
here are some scooters I’ve restored over the past few years-

They all have “correct Piaggio badging” you can buy all this stuff in Asia for pennies. This is what we call a viet-bodge. I guarantee this is 3 or more frames welded together, and there are shims in the transmission made of coke cans. think I’m kidding? do a little more research. THESE ARE DANGEROUS- I would not work on them at my shop. there are a dozen or so of these in Buffalo…Nobody would work on them after experiencing how bad they are. I’m sorry, I’m honestly not trying to be a dick, but these are known the buckle in the middle, and cause serious injury and death.
Look Familiar?

SOLD. Regardless of someone blowing up the ad… This machine was restored in Las Vegas then brought here and painted metallic pearl pink to match another bike. Never assume…
Uh huh. Restored by Vic eh?
