I will bring the 2.5 bar map for the LSx swap!
Actually, I may still have a 3 bar laying around.
The goodies are packed up in my wagon and ready to test fit.
Did someone say beers?
I actually DO have a cutoff wheel and sawzall I can bring over…
I’d say we could crush beers but Drew is an old man fggt and has work responsibilities and shit.
so is this thing turbo’d yet?
^ It’s amazing how accurate this will likely be…retired Vet, drinks PBRs, has awesome American Classic Car ('Merica), got “the best women in the world to marry him”, etc…
Trim tag should not be held on by phillips screws …they were riveted on
Who doesn’t know that…?
99% of people here just trying to help as i own a stock 69 z28
Ahhh I see. Pics? Details? Love it? Tips?
Nomination for Drew’s new Avatar, all in favor?
From what I can see:
X11= chrome style trim. Doesn’t tell you what engine it came with but it does exclude certain engines like the 396 and the 302. That code could mean a 6cyl, or a 327 or an SS350.
The “52” means Garnet Red body color
The “B” next to it means it came with a vinyl top
I can’t tell if the one series of numbers is “711” or “Z11”.The “711” means black standard bucket seats. The “Z11” means rear quarter moldings, wheel opening moldings and Z28 rally stripes.
The “07A” means the car was built in July during the first week
“NOR” means the car was built in Norwood, Ohio
EDIT: it most likely is a true SS car. X11 DOES include the SS 350 model. It’s a 255hp 350 with a 4-bbl. Although it is not one of the more desirable models it is quite rare. Estimated production of SS 350’s is roughly around 5% of the total number of cars built in '69.
It would be interesting to see the engine block numbers too. I’d bet that the owner used the original engine and put a stroker crank in it to make a 383. The stamp pad is just infront of the passenger side cylinder head.
Thanks a bunch for looking into it. I looked into the vin and it indicated that it is an 8cyl car. Were there X11 8cyl non SS cars? The car has drum brakes on the front which one site said that means it is not an SS I believe.
I can take a look at the motor. Give me a pic of what you want me to check if ya can. That always works best.

This is a great place for info
Nice buy. With Canfield heads, bet it’s faster than the Nova, but only from a roll, lol
The Nova rips! Both cars feel pretty quick. I have abused the Nova way more so far so I need to get some plates on the Camaro and see what it’s made of. It kills those tires from a dig…I know that much
I don’t believe it…I need to see it.
Wow nice pickup! I love 69’s in with the pro touring look if thats the way you are going with this. Your going to need a bigger garage.
Thanks! and yes to both…I love the pro touring look on them and I need a bigger garage.
Just knock down the ugly house next door and build one
I do like the new addition. Ive always liked the look of the older camaros. nice pick up.
