I just picked up my first camper from a friend for free (his parents were the original owners). Its a 73 Coleman Brandywine, in very good shape for its age. Im planning on fixing it up over the next couple months.
I dont have any solid plans yet. Ill probably make it up as I go along.
haha. Well dont get too excited. I might not get too crazy with this (ok I’m sure this will end up being a lie, so dont mark your calendars or anything).
Awesome thread man, pm me if you have any questions or need any parts. My parts guys here are pretty good and I know alot about these as well. Good luck!
So Im thiinking about making some Rogue Status vinyl, but instead of guns… with little campers on it. Tell me that wouldnt be a sweet wrap for a popup.
-Completely removed all of the seating, cabinets, galley, water tank, panelling, etc etc. Its stripped right down to the bare floor.
-Rewired the trailer lights (marker, brake, etc)
-Removed the sketchy shore power wiring, which I need to replace.
I hadnt planned on replacing the sub flooring, but now that Im down this far I noticed the outer edges are starting to delaminate. So, I figure since Im this far into it I should just replace it.
Today Im going to order a new roof vent thing (as the current one leaks bad), pick up some new plywood for the sub floor, linoleum for the flooring and some new paneling. If time allows try to find some decent LED lights for the interior.
I didnt have time to post pics of the progress, Ill get them uploaded tonight.
