1976 Ferrari 275 GTB + Paris at dawn

C’était un rendez-vous is a short film made in 1976 by Claude Lelouch
Rumour has it that the driver is Rene Arnoux, an ex-Formula One driver for Renault.

:king:

Fuckn awesome!

Rene Arnoux, for those who don’t know, is one of the two participants (the other was Gilles Villeneuve) in the most classic showdown in F1 and possibly motorsports.

1979 French Grand Prix @ Dijon: vid

Villeneuve is in the red car (Ferarri) and Arnoux is in the yellow car (Renault). The battle was for second place.

see thats why i hate current F1.

you will never ever see that type of racing in F1 ever again.

back then it was all driver at 1 with his car… now… its car with a drunken monkey riding on its back.

GT

Speaking of crazy finishes does anyone have the vid of that nasacar race (i know i know) where it was just the 2 guys and they were basically rubing against eachother for the last lap and the finish the one guy lost buy .0001 of a second and then the guy spun out. Thats all i really remember, i THINK it was tony stewart but im probably wrong.

I dont watch nascar but it was a good race.
