1978 Datsun 280Z

Mine weighs 2500 with a turbo setup with all steel pipe, the only real weight reduction has been the massive bumpers, spare tire, A/C, and what little emissions stuff it had.

Isn’t there someone on here already Frankensteining another 280z? BTW, NYSpeed rule 367.6: No more than one foreign build project at a time.

There’s also my 280z, but the ‘build’ is mostly done and I’m not much for build threads. I do think I’ve posted the fastest time for an s30 on here in recent history, 12.9 at 107. Not bad for a stockish L28ET with an open diff and street tires.

Thats kinda like a bolt on 80s 300ZX making newer “performance” cars with bolt ons look bad.
