1981 Porsche 928 (ROW)

posting this for a relative that is looking for a quick sale!

I’m selling my 1981 Porsche 928 (ROW) with very rare tartan interior. I bought it as a restoration project, and it was previously in storage since the late 90’s. I got it running, replaced the belts and fuel filter, and fixed the relay for the fuel pump and the air filter. The car definitely needs a repaint, but the interior is in great shape (only a little wear on the drivers seat). Only 32km on the odometer. I’ve basically run out of free time to work on this, and I’d love to give it a new home. I’m asking $3,000 to facilitate a quick sale, as I don’t want to part it out.

Here is his Craigslist post with all the pictures

If interested, the best way to contact the seller is through the craigslist ad or to send me a message and i can relay it to him, but contact through the craigslist ad will direct your questions right to the owner. Tell him that you seen the ad on NYSPEED…

THANKS!

OK, I’ll bite. “ROW”?

Also, the ad states this is a manual car, it’s an automagic.

I’m not sure what row means I believe he means EURO or maybe the fancy porsche people call it “row” lol and I was also confused on the transmission cause it looks like an auto from the picture… I will clarify right now with him

He said “row” stands for “rest of world” it was made in Europe and the dash is in german…

And it in fact is auto for some reason he put manual…

row (rest of world) just means it was imported from somewhere other than north america. also, the interior is very common. this is not a special car in any way.

definitely not a special car but I still have a huge boner for these and my RX-8 goes byebye tomorrow . . . . do I need another electrical disaster in addition to my P38?
