1987 Firebird Trans AM 383 with 5 Speed

I took this on a trade and have to many old cars. It’s the somewhat unusual yellow color. The star of this car is the mild 383 with the 5 speed. Mechanically, it seems excellent. I’ve only drove it about 10 miles, but it’s a strong motor. From what PO told me, it’s a 383 with a mild cam, roller rockers, 10:1 compression. I did pull the valve cover to at least make sure it looked new and check the rockers/studs. It’s definitely had some work done. PO said it has less the 2k miles and was built about 3 years ago.

Body is extremely nice for being what appears original paint. It is missing the spoiler. Interior carpet is faded, but otherwise in decent shape. Have a new headliner for it. The soft trim is getting a bit worn, but it is an 87.

I’m not a fan of the wheel-tire combination. They have 1"-1.5" spacers and I think it makes it handle weird with the low profile tires. They are in very good shape, I just don’t like them.

If you are looking for a toy with some power, this will work. It’s fun to drive.

Bump - Lowered price. Would rather not have to store over winter.
