1989 325i - Sedan 5spd - All documents, one previous owner, well taken care of

I am selling my very clean 1989 BMW 325i.

There was only one previous owner before me, who was a lady and parked it indoors at home and at work. Since buying it earlier this year I have done the following:

New Bilstein Sport shocks
New H&R Sport Springs
New Front shock mounts
New Rear shock mounts (High performance aluminum ones)
New fuel filter
New air filter
New spark plugs
New shifter boot
New shifter rod
New shifter bushings
New front control arms with new inner and outer ball joints
New front sway bar links
New sway bar link brackets
New front control arm bushings (solid)
MarkD 91 Chip
Mtech 1 suede wrapped steering wheel
NLA leather roundel OEM BMW shift knob (very rare)
BMW OEM 15" Basketweaves, great shape with Falken tires (good tread)
Spacers to fit the wheels
Brand new waterpump and timing belt kit (uninstalled)

Car also comes with the original shift knob and bottle cap wheels with good tires. As well as a set of winter wheels and tires. And the stock steering wheel.

The interior is immaculate, with no cracks in dash, no tears or stains in seats and no fading in paint on buttons. Everything works, from rear defroster, AC (blows cold), seat warmers, power windows, no leaks in the sunroof, heated seats, heated mirrors etc. All seals are in great shape (none dried). Always parked in garage. Also has a manual wind sunroof.

Have all receipts since the car was purchased brand new. Binder full of records of all new parts I listed above as well as past records and maintenance. I also 3 keys, skinny, fat and skeleton plus the serial code to get any key re cut, plus the original dealership key tag from 80’s. Slight rust on drivers fender.

Car does not need E-test any more, it was just done this March and good for 2 years. Should pass safety no problem.

If someone wants the 15" weaves/tires/spacers, Suede wrapped steering wheel, I can sell those off separately and adjust the price accordingly.

I also want to note a new exhaust system which is OEM BMW was installed by the previous owner I think within the last 2 years or so. And the leather knob I have on there was re-upholstered with real leather a month ago. Also the vents are very stiff and do not droop down.

It looks like there is rot on the bottom of the fender, door, and rocker panels. You might want to take up close pics of that area. I saw a truly mint 325ix the other day, some older lady was driving it, probably had no idea what a gem it was.

It does have rust on the drivers fender, and slight rust on the drivers door that’s just surface, as well as the rockers. The body is not mint, the paint is original, never repainted. The only thing this car needs is a paint job and mild body work. I’d advise on replacing the front fender rather than fix it since front fenders are cheap, and fixing rust is always finicky. I did mention in the ad that there is slight rust on the fender, and the pics are to show the rest. With a paintjob and minor body work the car will truly be a mint car inside and out that, more importantly is fully documented and hasn’t gone through a million owners like 99% of other E30s. There are “clean” E30’s, but you have no idea what’s under that 5th paint job, hypothetically speaking. This car the main thing is, you know what you’re getting, you know what it’s been through.

Would you consider trades? Also what is a more practical vehicle for you?
