1989 BMW 325i - 2dr E30, 5 Speed

Up for sale is my 1989 BMW 325i coupe. I recently picked up a VW MKIV GTI and no longer have need for this car.

I’ve owned the car for about 2.5 years. I bought it from a member on R3vlimited.com, Chris Langsten (UNHCLL), in April 2009. Prior to this car, I owned an '87 325e for 6 years.

It has been driven year round, through summer and upstate NY winters. There is a bit of surface rust on the body panels that you will see in the photos. The car has not been tracked or auto-crossed. The tires are on their second summer of use. I usually change from snows to summers in April and then back again in November. I have never been stuck nor had issues with snow.

The radio is a JVC KDG-300. The OEM BMW tape deck is included in the sale. The speakers are upgraded from stock (Polk Audio up front, Infinity in back).

The dashboard is crack-free!

Pics of engine will be coming tomorrow (needs to be cleaned).

What needs attention:
-Driveshaft - This is the #1 problem. It needs a new driveshaft. Changing the guibo and center bearing has not solved this problem, so I had a shop confirm that the driveshaft u-joints are toast. Driveline Services of Portland would be your best bet for getting a re-manufactured unit (or junkyard).
-Front brake pads need to be changed (included in sale)
-Car only locks from passenger’s side door
-Seats need covers
-Surface rust is beginning to show through near the taillights, and bubbles are forming on the leading edge of the hood
-The front valence could use a respray
-OBC has the usual “wavy screen” problem

Asking price: $SOLD

Feel free to PM me any questions.

Price?

paging Dawn…

If anyone buys this and needs the parts that come with it installed I have done all of those before for this car. I work cheap too.

If I didn’t just buy a car, id scoop this up!

Price is at the bottom of the original post. I am asking $2250 OBO.

Thanks
-Joel

curious why you’d go from an e30 to a mkiv

because MK4 gti’s are siqqqqqqq. I bet it’s silver.

ok sorry.
glws.

Pmed

I bet it is also as it in the pictures behind the bimmer.

But it does look like a clean for the age.

ahahah i didn’t even notice.

I wanted something more modern now that I have my first real job after college and can afford more than a 22 year old BMW. The MKIV was one of the better options in my price range. It’s an '04 1.8t with 52k miles.

PMs replied, thanks.

Bump, still FS, price is negotiable, please make me an offer.

Text me at 7164442895 I may be interested. (you live down the street from me)
