Up for sale is my 1989 BMW 325i coupe. I recently picked up a VW MKIV GTI and no longer have need for this car.
I’ve owned the car for about 2.5 years. I bought it from a member on R3vlimited.com, Chris Langsten (UNHCLL), in April 2009. Prior to this car, I owned an '87 325e for 6 years.
It has been driven year round, through summer and upstate NY winters. There is a bit of surface rust on the body panels that you will see in the photos. The car has not been tracked or auto-crossed. The tires are on their second summer of use. I usually change from snows to summers in April and then back again in November. I have never been stuck nor had issues with snow.
The radio is a JVC KDG-300. The OEM BMW tape deck is included in the sale. The speakers are upgraded from stock (Polk Audio up front, Infinity in back).
The dashboard is crack-free!

What needs attention:
-Driveshaft - This is the #1 problem. It needs a new driveshaft. Changing the guibo and center bearing has not solved this problem, so I had a shop confirm that the driveshaft u-joints are toast. Driveline Services of Portland would be your best bet for getting a re-manufactured unit (or junkyard).
-Front brake pads need to be changed (included in sale)
-Car only locks from passenger’s side door
-Seats need covers
-Surface rust is beginning to show through near the taillights, and bubbles are forming on the leading edge of the hood
-The front valence could use a respray
-OBC has the usual “wavy screen” problem
