The car is a Red with Black interior 1991 Notchback 5.0 Mustang Coupe that has been converted to a 347 Stroked Ford V8. The engine runs like a top even in 100 degree heat index it pumps 45 psi of oil press and stay below 160° F ( thermostat is a 160°). Cobra 17" wheels.
The motor has somewhere around 10,000 miles on it, I rarely weekend drive it, never to work and it’s never been to the track.
Paint job is an excellent job done by a professional shop. Always stored for winter and well taken care of. Very clean original body with laser straight lines and clean from top to bottom. Underside is just as clean as the top. Very clean interior.
Mods are as follows:
-Eagle 347 stoker crank
-H beam forged rods
-SRP forged pistons with valve reliefs
(entire assembly balanced)
-Billet Flywheel
-Trick Flow twisted wedge heads with freshly done valve job and springs matched to cam
-Engine block Machine Work done by a comprehensive Street and strip machine shop include hot tank, magnaflux, bearings throughout, cylinder notching for 347 clearence, pistons to zero deck, mock assembly to check for adequate clearence and req, gasket thickness for desired compression ( 11.0-1) I am probably forgetting a few things with respect to machine work.
-shorty headers unequal length (cars biggest bottle neck)
-Trick flow cam 221/225 degrees - 499/510 lift - very street-able cam
-Cam was purpose built for street/strip, idle is aggressive but the car doesn’t even stumble or buck at 45 mph in 5th gear… extremely strong torque curve.
-Cometic Head Gaskets, Felpro performance gaskets everywhere else
-Trick Flow Intake manifold
-Trick Flow Upper
-Fuel pump
-MSD billet distributor, MSD 6al ignition, MSD coil
-off road Exhaust, loud but not too loud.
-Roller rockers
-Professional Tune on car - runs perfect at all RPMs.
Engine compartment was put together nicely, very clean and no expense spared.
-Ford Motorsports T-5 transmission with straight cut gears
-Pro 5.0 shifter
-King Cobra clutch
-Ford rear end with limited slip, 3.73 Richmond gears and all new seal for installed by mustang specialties (less than 5000 miles since work was done)
All gauges work.
Runs and drives and shifts smooth.
