Right now I have both the BMW and 240 (BMW is up for sale right now as well on CL) and can only juggle one. I’ll keep whichever car isnt sold, but one of them needs to go. The BMW is on the road but needs a lot of work, if interested PM me.
I’ll take more pics in a bit, but here are the same ones I posted before. I PROMISE you will not find another 240, convertible or not, that is in as good shape as this.
Tidbits: I wanted to swap out the tranny for a better one. THis one shifts fine, every gear, but you can hear a whining noise. My intent to swap the trans was just preventive maintenance. The engine putters (I’m going to check in to this, however I believe it to be a vacuum leak). Lastly the previous owner said the temp goes up, then down every blue moon. It hasnt done so in my possession, and was probably due to a bad thermostat that he replaced weeks before my purchase. I have a sales reciept to prove so.
Other than that, I have reciepts showing all new brakes and rotors around the clock. The soft top works and looks great. Not a spec of rust anywhere. New automatic door locks, new keys, and keyfobs recently made.
