I figured I’d post up here, I recently acquired an X-SCCA/World Challanger race car, had to drive to Virgina for it but well worth it.
Its a 1992 Oldsmobile Achieva SCX W41.
Car won two championships in 1993-1994, been a race car from the FACTORY.
These 4cyl 5spd’s put out around 190 WHP stock.
I’m building the car up for Hollands Pro Four division, going to kick some Nissan 240 @$$!
wow that is some classic 90’s gm
Awesome find

 this is going to be awesome.
Wow very cool and pretty hard to find, nice project man. I’ve got a 5sd NVG tranny from and SCX in my Cavy
Sweet, I could use that trans, lol…
This car is going to hopefully win me a championship.
On my way to the Hornet and GF to the Queen Bee championships hopefully this year!
It might be forsale let him know if you are actually interested…
If its an NVG then its the internal slave style = PITA to service… lol.
Cant wait to get the block back and start this build!!!
nice! In 90 that was a real badass car
Lol, thats a little far don’tcha think!
looks good. i still got the shift cables, clutch pedal and maybe a clutch master cyl from a SCX here. Possibly some parts off the Grand prix 282 left, but will need to see.
And I’m glad that this car went to someone who would fix it and enjoy it.
Jimmy please let me know on those parts, I could still use that stuff!!!
Well the Pro 4 car has to take a sidetrack for a while now.
I’m still 1st in points in the Hornets ATM and had a nasty wreck last night due to the guy second in points not liking me so much…
Site seems to be having trouble uploading pictures, but they will be up asap.
Finally got my block and crank back from J&L Performance.
I will be posting some pictures up of the engine build in the next few days.
in for updates. Sweet project.

I already am with my regular 4cyl car. This ones not done yet!
LOLWUT? Dude, it’s only 2009, a 1990 car won’t be a “classic” until 2015 and no fwd POS will ever truly be called a classic.
Really? Why is it that the Olds Torronado is a FWD and consider a classic?
