1992 sr20det coupe - $3800 takes it

same car i had up for sale before, except i am removing the fmic and 2.5" exhaust.

The car will comes with the smic and oem exhauts from my 180sx.
This is why the price is now $3800 firm.

I can gaurentee you this will not last lng because this is one of the few, if not the only, times you will see an sr powered, rust free bodied 240 on these boards.

brand new ngk iridium plugs
brand new belts
manifold has steel idel adjustment screw, not plastic
recently oil changed with mobil 1 sythetic
p/s and coolant has been changed
new turbo and manifold gaskets

no grinding gears, strong clutch, motor runs perfectly fine

Suspension:
megan racing lowering springs
kyb nismo shocks
new tie rods ends, balljoints, and control arms (uninstalled)
oem wheels

Brakes:
front ceramic pads
front premium rotors

Interior:
dual pod gauge pillar
oem steats
black interior conversion, 97% complete
carpet removed
cd deck (panasonic?)
shift light boost gauge (uninstalled)

Chasis/body:
floor rust has been cut out and 18 guage steel spot welded in, also riveted for added strength
most seams have been re-sealed with oem approved seam sealer
front stb (thick)
vented hood
h4 conversion

Body is mint, 99% rust free
Qaurters and rockers are rust free
motor pulls very hard, no noises, over 500 man hours put into the swap

comes e-tested (e-tested as a 2.0L motor, hotrod status)

frame rails are fine as they stand now, but i personally would plate them

im selling it because im going to try to get my 180sx a candian vin and start fresh with it. If the 180sx doesnt work out, then i may leave nissan’s for a bit. undecided.

Also “floor rust has been cut out and 18 guage steel spot welded in, also riveted for added strength” ,when something has to be done like that but repaired properly it doesn’t affect the car right? It always drives like it should?

the floor started to rust like most 240’s

instead of the half assed fixes you seer with 75% of these cars, mine was done right,

i compleetly cut those sections of floor right out, riveted in 18 gauge steel, and then stitch welded the steel

hen i re-sealed the new metea with oem sealer and did other seams while i was at it.

and no it wont affect the car

^ ic this makes it more of a deal ;). When you said you sealed other seams is that those like “hard glue” like substance all over the car that hold it together? That line of stuff…

the bumper is not bolt on at all in those pics, thats why it looks on the fenders

and the fender caps are missing in the pics

What would it need to certify?

dunno, everything works electronic wise, motor wise, and suspension wise

the last owner safetied it and its still the same as when i bougt it from him ,its actually in better shaoe now
