78,200 miles on body/chassis
Montego Blue
Description:
Montego Blue with tan leather interior. This car looks bone stock but is a total sleeper. Atkins built engine with 3mm Mazda steel apex seals, large street port, Garrett GT4088 turbo, full stainless turbo back exhaust with resonated midpipe and Racing Beat dual tip. TiAl 44mm wastegate and stainless dump pipe, TiAl 50mm blow off valve, 1000cc primary/ 1680cc secondary injectors, KG Parts fuel rails and braided lines under the hood. Nippondenso fuel pump in tank with an external Bosch -044 (both hardwired). Aeromotive FPR, Koyo aluminum radiator, Pettit Racing Coolcharge III stock mount intercooler, MSD 6a on the leading coils, AST, oil catch can, power steering and a/c delete. Battery relocated to passenger side rear storage bin, Apexi PowerFC with commander and Datalogit tuner interface, Spec stage 3 clutch (6 puck, sprung), Tokiko Illumina shocks and struts, Peter Farrell springs (lowered 1.25"). The body has 78,XXX miles, the engine has around 5000.

Found it using the autotrader search, but the link doesn’t work when you copy and paste.

odd, link isn’t working for some reason. Well, if you search for it on autotrader, it’s the only rx7 for sale within 100 miles so should be pretty easy to locate.

I miss Eric…and am sad to see him selling…tell him 91MR2 says hi…

On topic, I have been in this car as of many years ago, back when ezfd was still around here…the car was immaculate, and a total monster…and great guy/seller…new owner will not be disappointed…

Think I’ve seen this on CL sporadically in the last year or so. Still one of my all time favorite cars (FD’s that is), and hopefully will own one for a time some day.

Car looks awesome, with all that work how much HP will it make? 400whp?

Montego blue is probably my favorite car color of all time. Gorgeous.

Damn! He started this project when I had my FD over 10 year ago. Almost makes me want to buy it, but with the garages at home full and the driveway starting to look like a parking lot, I think my other half would veto the decision to buy this. LOL
