Hey guys!
I’m just throwing this out there as a kind of interest check. I found another car (super clean 14 from Penn state) and am interested in selling my S13 coupe. I built this car last year with the help of my friends at Intense Motorsport. Pictures will be up asap as I am posting this from work, and obviously don’t have any pictures here with me.
Body:
1993 240sx Coupe
-Had the body and paint re-done last year when we did the sr swap. Stayed with the same stock color because I din’t want anything that would draw too much attention from the wrong people. The color is what I call “Old Man Gold” which is the usual stock gold color.
-Replaced the right fender and hood when painted because both had dents and dings that I didn’t want to have the body guy fixed so I just bought a hood and fender that were in better condition.
-Car originally came wit a spoiler on the trunk, but I purchased another trunk off of Bing that was wingless from the factory, so I wouldn’t have to fill the holes on the original trunk when I removed the spoiler.
-Paint and body are clean, as they should be because it was painted last year. I tried to get parts that were in better condition if I needed new parts, instead of using bondo or the like because I know what happens to bondo and other band aid solutions to body work. They come back to bite you in the ass.
Motor
- Swapped a black top S13 motor into the car. All measures were taken to properly install the motor. No short cuts were taken.
- Car now has a front mount Yonaka intercooler, and behind that there is a aluminum rad with two electric fans (cannot remember the name of the fans…but they are brand name)
- Turbosmart manual boost tee and blow off valve.
- Still running the stock T25. Turbo was inspected before motor was installed into car.
- New water pump, belts, and full brake lines installed before the motor went into the chassis.
- Urathane tranny mount installed in the car upone installation of motor in chassis.
Chassis
- Car can be sold with K-sport Kontrol Pro coilovers. Bought these last year, but had a faulty set. K-sport came clean for them and shipped me a new set, so the set that are installed right now have less then 5000k on them.
- Car can also be sold with a Tomei T-Trax 2-way differential installed. It is in the car right now, and was installed at the end of the season last year. New seals used as well.
- Also installed new brakes pads and rotors last year before the car hit the road.
- Car can be sold with my set of falken Hanabi’s (were originally bronze but were sand blasted and cleared to be a dull silver) and decent rubber on all wheels.
- Car can also be sold with stock wheels or my set of Work VSxx wheels that I recently came across. They are not in the greatest shape, but with a little TLC they will shine like new. Works come in Mirror finish.
- Frame rails are solid in this car. I have had shitty 240sx’s before with rotten underbodys before, so when I bought this car that was the main reason for purchasing it. The car was in the posession of an old gentleman who had it in his garage for a few years. He said he never drove it in the winter, so I’ll take his word for it. It is in pretty good condition for a canadian S13. I will post pics asap of underbody.
Interior
- Originally the car’s interior was that ugly brown color. Not anymore, as the entire interior was swapped for black counter parts.
-Trim is from a Silvia, while the HUD dash was swapped for a standard black dash. Headliner was re-upholstered and a black suade was used. Car has zenki front and rear grey seats (Fronts could use a little love). - Car will come with an after-market panasonic full color player, with full cd/mp3 capabilities, but the stock speakers will remain as I haven’t messed with the stereo.
History
- As i said car was purchased from an older gentleman last year. The car originally came automatic, with a ka, air conditioning and abs. The car no longer has any of these.
- The car was built at Intense Motorsport in Barrie, and stored over the winters.
Price
- I am negotiable with the price of this car. The motor has roughly 100k on it, while the body has over 200k (about 5-7k since it was swapped). Oil changes have been done regularly, and all normal maintance has been kept up.
- I am willing to sell this car in many different configs to alter the price. If you just want the car with stock everything, then obviously it will be chaper then buying the car as it sits right now.
