It’s funny when people realize their 2004ish and older GT is worth nothing :lol:

Bad gas mileage
High prices
LS1 cars are pretty cheap now
etc

You can even pick up 2004ish verts for super cheap which wouldn’t be horrible to tool around in during the summer

I would get an LS1 car but I hate the way they sit…I feel below the dash board looking out over that long hood and GM interiors are amazingly worse than Fords for similar time period…I might just pay up and get into something like that maroon one.

I don’t disagree its a great time to pick up older V8 cars.

Next time I find a good deal on 2000ish GT vert im going to pick it up for the wife for a summer car.

$8800 for a 99 GT w/ 101k is nuts. It looks like a nice car, but for almost $9k there are better cars too be had. The 01 cobra on corral for $6800 is a way better way to go. IRS, 4v motor, cobra brakes. 4.6 GT’s just suck, unless you get one for like $4k. I’d still rather have a $4k 96-98 cobra though.

I am torn because I would rather have something rumbly and clean than fast and crazy. I want to buy something very clean with basic mods.

I love the look of that 35th but the miles and the spray are a turn off unless the price was quite a bit better

Still say my dads pony was a good find, I aggre with deathproof, cobra or bust, but I also aggre that the rumble of a basic gt is orgasmic, take your time and you will find one

Yeah, it’s sooo dirty right now. I need to do some work on it but it should be on the road soon. Fiinally got that red eclipse vert running, that will be for sale very soon. Was going to clean it up and refinish the headlights today but I ended up helping a friend create a garden and patio. Got the crusher run down as it started raining. Soooo much fucking clay.

I guess my motto is everything is for sale. But I took my time looking for this car and I really really like it. I want to make it ridiculous one day, like double what it makes now. But I also want a TR4 and a 968 so I need more room, time, and money.
