1994 Audi S4 $9,800/offer

Car:
1994 Audi S4 Quattro
191,XXX on chassis
687miles on engine/head/clutch/turbo/manifold/ect,ect

Modifications:
Engine:
-AAN engine code, bored to 81.5mm, 5cylinder
-Scat rods, ARP hardware
-JE 8.5:1 pistons
-JE Pro-Seal rings
-Polished crank
-Fully balanced rotating assembly upto 9,500rpm.
-OEM main and rod bearings, from dealer
Essentially, a “brand new” engine, I’ve put 687miles on it since I dropped it in the car.

Head:
Fully rebuilt with the following:
-034 Motorsport .5mm oversize intake and exhaust valves (Stainless intake valves, Inconel exhaust valves)
-034 Motorsport high-rate valve springs
-034 Motorsport titanium retainers
-034 Motorsport lightweight hydro lifter
-7A exhaust camshaft, AAN intake camshaft
-decked with a RA20 finish
Essentially, a “brand new” head, 687miles.

Forced Induction:
-TiAL/Garrett GT4294R dual ball bearing turbo with the TiAL hotside housing, 1.00A/R
-TiAL 44mm wastegate, open dump
-TiAL Alpha-Q BOV
-Custom 304/316 stainless steel tubular header, built by me
-Modified Perrin STi FMIC, 900hp capable 37x12.3x3.50 core size?
-aluminum intercooler piping 3.00in and 2.75inch, t-bolt clamps
-4inch stainless downpipe, wrapped in DEI “Titanium” heat wrap
-4in aluminum “mid” section of the exhaust
-4inch MagnaFlow diesel performance rear muffler.
-EVERY connection on this setup (aside from 3 silicone connections on the intercooler pipes) are VBAND connections, including the turbo to the manifold.
-I built everything in this setup, all stainless welds were correctly backpurged, and look excellent.
Again, all of this stuff is essentially “brand new”, 687miles on all of it.

Fuel system:
-034 Motorsports Bosch 044 drop-in fuel pump, hard wired to battery with relay.

  • -8 stainless braided fuel supply line
  • -6 Aeroquip push-lock return line
    -Aeromotive FPR with gauge
  • -8 fuel rail, Grassroots motorsports
-Injector Dynamics ID1000 high impedance injectors

Engine Management:
-VEMS V3 standalone ECU, 1.1.70 firmware update
-EFI Express IGBT ignition coils & plug wires.

Instrumentation:
-Defi d-link gauge controller
-Defi d-link boost gauge
-Defi d-link EGT gauge
-Defi d-link oil pressure gauge
-AEM wideband O2
-VEMS LCD display: coolant temp, timing advance, rpm, boost, a bunch of other variables can be programmed in to be displayed.

Drivetrain:
-Tilton 7.25in triple disc clutch, metallic disc’s
-034 Motorsports 01E/Tilton lightweight aluminum flywheel
-Stock 01E 5sp trans, also have a 01E wide first gear box sitting around I’d toss in the deal for extra $200.00
-stock axles and driveshaft.

Brakes:
-Stock G60’s, car also comes with Porsche “Big Reds”, and everything you need to bolt them onto the car, the only thing you would need is 10mm wheel spacers if you want to run the stock Fuchs wheels.
-New rear calipers, pads, rotors, ebrake cables, lines.

Suspension:
-H&R “race” springs (2.00in drop)
-Koni adjustable struts/shocks all four corners.

Wheels & tires:
-Stock Fuchs 16x8 alloys, near perfect shape
-BRAND NEW Toyo Proxes4 225/50/16 tires (687miles)

Other:
-custom made breather box with -10an lines from valve cover, bottom of box drains back into the crankcase.
-CoolingMist alcohol injection, with custom 5052 tank in the trunk.
-Valve cover, intake manifold, all ancillary brackets were powdercoated
-I swapped in black door cards and seats form a 95.5 S6, the car originally can with Ercu seats, and the driver’s seat was beat and it’s extremely hard to find a decent replacement in that color, so I just decided to change that stuff out.

The good:
-Car really needs nothing, plus everything is pretty much brand new on the car
-AC and automatic climate control work perfectly
-all the windows go up and down, the sunroof works perfectly, the factory alarm and keyless entry work perfectly.
-all new rear suspension bushings, tie rods done last summer
-new front ball joints and tie rod ends done last summer
-4 wheel alignment done last summer
-new headlamp glass (euro-spec glass)
-4000K HID’s
-SPAL electric rad fans, ecu controlled to replace the stock mechanical fan
-NO RUST/NO BONDO

The bad:
-I removed the headlamp washers to make room for the intercooler piping, so not headlamp squirters.
-Driver’s seat heat doesn’t work
-There are some minor cosmetic blemishes, nothing out of the ordinary. After all, they stopped making new 1994’s in 1994.

I had big plans for this car (big hp numbers), and I’ve really lost all interest in it. I’m far to busy with my new job to even take the thing out for a rip, so it sits, taking up room, collecting dust. There is nothing wrong with it, Mike@ Innovative Tuning started tuning it, then the stock coils started failing, so I got the IGBT coils from Marc Swanson @ EFI express, and that solved the problem. Just haven’t had a chance to finish the tune. All the drivability tuning, cold start tuning is done, and the car runs great. We got it up to 433whp @ 17psi, and that’s where we left it, as the stock coils were not keeping up. All that needs to be done is the boost needs to be raised and the tune needs to finished.

I’m asking $9,800/offer, which I think is pretty fair, considering the turbo, clutch and flywheel were like $4,375 alone for those three items…lol.

Here are some pics:

(don’t ask me why they are silver, not red, but they are BIG REDS!)

A few pics of the motor when it went in:

I can take some hi-res pics if anyone wants them, these are garbage can iphone pics.

thats a large turbo… any idea on quarter mile numbers?

looks clean

ugh this is so fucking awesome!!!111!!!one!!
good luck

Cool car man, good luck with the sale…

This car is amazing.

That is one awesome sleeper right there. I love it.

No idea, since the tune isn’t finished. It will run whatever time a 4000lb car with 433awhp will run, lol.

if german 90’s jesus were looking for a car…

love it buddy! you will miss it… just has much has I miss you.

Don’t do it…at least get a somewhat higher boost number to see what it does…

X…

PM’ed

Ya, but I don’t drive it. It’s just sitting around. I’d rather see it go to someone that might actually drive it or take it to the track.

No trades either.

dude, just put it aside for a month or so and the bug will bite again and you will have the drive again. I feel like selling my car every other day but i know that if it sold id find myself doing something like this all over again. if you sell it you will regret it later.

Ya, but you’re always having issues with your car, so I could see how you want to sell it everyday. There is NOTHING wrong with this car. It’s not like it’s not running right or some shit like that. I have no intrest in cars any longer, so why have this thing sitting around? If I can get a decent price for it, I could do alot more with money than a car that just sits around in a garage collecting dust. Just sayin.

Noooo! this thing is a beast, very nice car seen it in person many times. glws

put the screws to it and finish the final tune, that’d make it a bit more marketable.

That’s the plan. I’ll post dyno sheets when I have some to post.

you just finished it… I’m not sure how you can say it “just sits”… its not like you havn’t driven it in years. You just did the tuning like a month ago.

Trade that 42 for a 4094 or something, bump the boost to 20+, and have a much more streetable, fun car. You will enjoy it much more.

holy massive turbo neat build GLWS!

Yeah, I want to sell it. That’s all there is to it.
