1995 Mazda Miata M-edition. 131k miles. Bunch of recent servicing. $5000

is there enough margin in a car like that to make it worth while or are you going down for other things and driving it back for fun?

i’ve been thinking about doing things like this myself.

This particular car, yeah likely worth it considering the condition these cars are in from that area. I bought the Miata, Allroad and S4 all from the same area. To be honest, I haven’t even seen pictures of this one. Don’t even know if it’s a 2 or 4-door.

And yes, there is another ulterior motive to this trip.

Simple question which was answered well by other on this thread. thanks for the negativity though

Right, but it doesn’t take a genius to figure this out.
Supply v demand then add in demand for special editions, such as the M or R = higher market value.
For Honda, the Crx is a perfect example of this.

FWIW, I have a strong feeling that even if this was a standard B-pack car with Torsen, it would have still fetched the same money due to mechanical condition.

^
I don’t doubt it.
The fact that it was an M package is a bonus, but something that is considered when buying these, above the avg consumer market, “niche cars”.

Both parties are happy. I don’t know why this isn’t closed yet, you shouldn’t have to justify yourself lol.

Very neat little car i love those wheels GLWS!

Still kicking myself for not picking this up…

I just KBBed my wife’s 00 LS with 62,000 on the clock. Ridiculous. It’s like it has gone up in value during the past 3 years. And that doesn’t even factor in the torsen.

once again not asking for justification on the sale. just a question. I know mechanical cleanliness and integrity fetches higher money on older cars. I know people who have spent close to 6 grand on a clean CRX so that was a good example.
