Hey all, picked this up last summer and pulled it apart over winter. Now i’m ready to move onto something else. Basically what i was shooting for was a nice looking, good handling and super reliable Miata. Pulled motor and trans. and went to it. Wasn’t interested in boosting it or anything. But anyways, i think i got where i wanted to be.

Here’s a list of what i did/put into the car. Things that weren’t replaced have 114k on them.

Interior:

  • Alpine CDA-105 Head Unit

  • Double Din storage bin

  • Sound Ordnance P-67 6-3/4" speakers

  • Instrument Hood

  • Radio Bezel

  • Center consul with cup holders

  • Chrome Style Bar

    Exterior:

  • Racing Beat Type 2 front clip with fresh paint

  • Silver OEM mint condition hardtop

  • Replaced hood

  • Replaced trunk lid

  • Have old hood and trunk if you want to paint sh*t on them. `

    Motor:

  • Complete engine gasket kit (Valve stem seals, Head Cover Gasket, Cylinder Head Gasket, Int. & Ex. Manifold Gaskets, Thermostat Cover Gasket, Oil pan F & R Gaskets, Timing Belt Gaskets, Seal-seal plate rubber, Oil seals, oil-crankshaft seal, oil pump/water/& w.Pump inlet gaskets, and O water by-pass ring…)

  • Timing belt w/ pulleys and tensioners

  • Water Pump

  • Thermostat

  • Injectors

  • Plugs

  • NKG wire set

  • PCV valve

  • O2 sensor

  • All coolant hoses replaced

  • Motor Pulled and cleaned

    Transmission:

  • Clutch kit

  • Master cylinder

  • Slave cylinder

  • Lower shift boot

  • Fresh trans fluid

    Exhaust:

  • Raceland Header w/ capped EGR

  • Enthuzacar test pipe

  • Magna Flow cat back

  • All fresh gaskets and bolts

    Steering/Suspension:

  • Energy Suspension full poly bushing kit

  • Raceland “coilovers”

  • Ball joints upper and lower (uppers are not really replaceable without new control arm, so got new boots and repacked-good as new.

  • Tie rod ends

  • Alignment from Licata’s (awesome alignment shop by me)

  • Front wheel bearings

    Brakes:

  • Fresh pads and rotors up front – back has lots of life left.

    Wheelzzz:

  • Wheels that come on the car are 16x7 , Offset is ET38 and have fresh Nokian tires on them.

  • Also included in sale is a set of Rota (I think grids) 16x7 with tires that will get you through the rest of summer. Just repainted silver to match the top.

I know how nice you are to things and that you do quality work.
Good luck with sale. Shouldn’t have any problem moving it.

Hardtop is worth a 800-1000 + the grids (600 new) + it’s an M edition with a good deal of work done to it.
The ONLY thing I can think of that could break on this is the Cam angle sensor (they seem to shit the bed round 100k for me)

Break or leak? That is the most common leak spot, o ring was replaced during all this :wink:

I’ve had two just outright fail. The O-rings go bad but you have that coverd.

Fuck. I have the money available and want this… It would so fuck up my priorities of renovating my house. =( Please sell this before I man up and try to buy it.

Its perfect for that, the paint was just a mess on it. If the buyer doesn’t want its yours.

But I was on scene for alot of the work. Clean car with work done right. He wont get ya there fast but hell make the ride worth your while
