Scroll to Page 31 for the vehicles. I have the paperwork for an administrative inspection. I fought for 2 weeks to get New York State in compliance.
Source!?
check the above link and my personal vehicle
oh wtf, where’s “h22 swapped honda” on there?! >:o
for a catalyst issue and a comp update all the car needs is a update, it still fails nysi if the c.e.l is lit or monitors aint ran sorry to burst your bubble but its true
it was a question, i wasnt stating it…hence the question mark…it looks like this… " ? "
Damn.
Sorry to burst your bubble man, do some research before you talk. Especially about DSM’s specifically 4g63t ones. Do you want the guy’s number from NYS EPA that did the inspection on my car, more links in reference to this, a copy of my inspection print out with the administrative exemption stated on it.
There is no computer change (which my car does have because of the recall based on the MIL), no software update, no TSB, and there 11 states that are aware of the problem and have fixed the problem with their inspection computer databases. These can not be inspected via OBDII emissions. So let me know what you need, I’ve done the homework. I’ll be more than happy to let you copy.
Oppie I apologize for the undertone
:stfu i am a nysi inspector ya tool i know first hand of the chalenges there are wow ya gotta a cert and a ispec was it a waiver cause if so ya gotta pass the next insp or ya fail :asshole
There is no need for flattery. Just because I am a corrections officer does not mean that I know all articles of the NYS Corrections Law. What I mean by this, it is not a waiver it is an EXEMPTION the car cannot pass OBDII emissions. The readiness monitors do not stay set do to the design of the car(wiring) and the duty cycles. Read the previous posts and click on the link. I don’t know what it is you are trying to do but I have the inspection (performed on 10/6/09) with the ADMINISTRATIVE EXEMPTION paperwork. If you would like to know the process I will tell you. I don’t really care that you are a certified inspector just as you don’t care what I do. I know what I had to do and what has been done. What do you need to prove it.
we have gotten off the topic of I wanna sell the car.
not tryin to bash the car or you …i understand the problems with the drive cycle and clearing monitors when rekeyed up its been a problem wit chysler for yrs and mitsu in the early obd trials it just would of been easier to run a drive cycle and run it to a shop and not turned it off in between driving and the emmisions part"obviously have a inspection done before ya do this" and run the emmisins test ive done it numerous times with no problems and if its not a waiver good for you but i would like to see this report ya have for future reference oh and most of the problems were due to a faulty tune in the pcm for hodin monitors a reflash is all that was needed i did it all the time when i worked for mitsu :nod
