Although it has high km, it drives perfectly and is definitely a great car for long commutes and highway driving. Come take it for a long test drive if you wish. I have nothing to hide about the car. It might not look like it’s in the best shape but mechanically, I think it’s perfect.
E-test is still valid for one more year. You will need to safety it yourself.
Specs:
1996 Honda Civic CX Hatchback (the lightest model of Civic for its generation)
318,000KM
No power options
5 Spd
AC blows cold air!
DX gauge cluster (has tach)
Complete 2000 Civic SIR suspension + disc brakes all around
It has a brand new heater core so the heat works great! AC blows nice cold air as well
The first thing I did when I bought the car was upgrade the whole suspension. The complete suspension of the car is from a 2000 Civic SIR. It has disc brakes all around and the rotors and pads are brand new. It has very mild lowering springs (eibach I think) and the control arms, etc are all from the Civic SIR.
I have the front and rear sway bars as well but it has not been installed. Purchase a set of sway bar endlinks for a 2000 Civic SIR and the sway bars will bolt right on.
I will include my set of winter tires on steelies as well as the 14 inch wheels with all-seasons that came from an integra. This car needs 14 inch wheels because of the larger sized brakes all around.
I will not be selling it with my deck.
I believe that the car will pass safety and E-test but I’m selling it as is.
Overall, it’s been a great car to drive and its perfect for a student or someone that plans to commute long distances daily.
Come check out the car before you send me an offer.
I’m asking $2000 obo. I’m located in Oakville so come check it out. I won’t refuse any reasonable offer from anyone that comes and checks it out.
Thanks
Mark
