My girlfriend’s Accord hesitates for a second or two between the 1-2 upshift. Then when it shifts, it slams into gear. I think the tranny is slipping, but her dad thinks otherwise.
Any ideas?

Check the tranny fluid. I believe the car has to be off when checking. Smell it and see if it smells burnt or if it smells “rubbery” or like newer fluid. Those trannys arn’t known to have many problems. Most likely sounds like a sticky shift solenoid.
every tranny i checked i had the car runing when i checked the stick
oil = off
tranny = running
:doh:
you are all :owned:
Thanks guys.
