My neighbor bought this car. His buddies, son is going into the service and the father didn’t want the car sitting around for that long. So he sold it(with the sons permission). The interior is taken apart but word is that all the parts are in the car. I have not seen the car in person YET. Yes the car is a project, make NO mistake about it. The word is that the car ran before he started to pull the interior apart.
If you buy it or your friend buys it and uses my name to the seller i will kick you back $100!! So use my name (Ken Moyer) if you like $
I believe it is a SOHC motor, so RS? Like i said i really need to go over and take a good look at the car to see whats its worth, to see how good the paint work is, underbody, how bad the interior is…
No sohc motor was available, just the NA 2.0 dohc chrysler 420a which I’m sure it is. I would say that whoever buys it will want to have a full interior and factory bumpers etc standing by. Not to crap on the thread but as an FYI the car is worth about half of the asking price and anyone who’s considering buying it without knowing anything about them should look into the headgasket issues these cars have. I speak from experience with these cars, I had a '96 NA Talon that I got for a lot less than this one back in '06.
Ok well the older cars there was a SOHC motor avilable. And you are right Cory, this is the 2.0l 420a motor. I just went a looked at it, it was getting (is) dark. But i got a good feel for it. The car has potential for a showey car, but as the price shows needs work. The full interior comes with the car, its just not together. Also yes they are not known to be super reliable. also i know that the price is flexable. i dont really care if he sells it, im just putting it out there.
