Damn that thing looks silly clean. If it was 5 speed I’d buy it myself…but I’m sure this will get scooped up quick for you. GLWS

Are you the original owner?

No, i’m sure it’s had a few owners. I have yet to run a carfax. If someone has an account PM me, I’ll send the vin.

Hows the transmission on it?

The CVT trans is in good shape, it operates smoothly like it should. Just drained and filled with Honda oem CVT fluid, no leaks.

bump for a clean civic

super clean…someone should buy and convert to manual…your not going to find many more civic bodies in this good of shape for this year

this thing is stupid clean. My friend’s girlfriend is looking for a car and this may be in her price range. I’ll let you know

Great, thanks for the comments.

Saw this on craigslist, looks like it is in great condition.

How do you like the transmission in it? Seems people have really mixed feelings on it.

I personally prefer the CVT trans to a regular slushbox. The design makes perfect sense to me. Seamless Infinite ratios with no jolts between shifts.
The CVT makes the HX model more fuel efficient as well.

if it were a stick id be all over it, the cvt is great in theory but the hx cvt is JUNK!!

btw aftermarket roof?

I beg to differ, this particular CVT is working great. I believe the cvts with trouble probably have not had the recommended oem fluid changed every 30k.
Yeah, aftermarket pop-up, no leaks.

i was in no way implying your car had trans problems, sorry if you felt that way… It was a general statement, personally my fiance had a 96 with lower miles and trans slipping problems, which led me to find out that its a major issue… and not a cheap one to fix

bump

if this doesnt sell on ebay i have buddy looking for a dd

The car is on eBay with no reserve. So it will currently sell at any price the bid is at. So if your friend has an ebay account, he can bid, or have someone bid for him. He may get it cheaper than asking price.
Thanks for the referral.

I’ll have to watch it. But I think by having no reserve and starting at a buck or whatever low amount you did will pay off. I think you’ll do well with the auction.
If the auction stays low enough I may look to buy it even though it’s auto.

Good luck to you (if you bid).
Thanks
