Yeah, my old set up from the black car with a few changes. A few pages back I mentioned that the motor is a synapse and so on
word
How much power/TQ did your GSR lay down, Justin?
too much
460hp and a tad over 300tq on 15psi, 93 pump. Race gas (112) my ignition gave out at 23psi which was 535hp and 390ish tq
That’s pretty good in pump! Are you going for higher numbers this time or stick with those?
Well last time I was 82 mm bore, now I’m 84 mm which is almost a 2L on paper so that and with my few lil changes I am probably gonna be in that 460 to 480 wheel range on pump and about 320ish tq
Quick update. my buddy Dom over at Synapse fixed my Benson block for me with his baller skills. It’s at the machine shop going to 84mm, then taking it to Powder Tech
So pretty much just like everyone said to do in the first place.
Not everyone said too and i never said i wasnt going to have it fixed. I wasn’t sure if it was gonna hold or not if it was welded, Morgan told me to drop it off and they would make the decision. Either way i don’t care I just want to be driving the car
thats not an oem honda weld on that block, car is no longer legit
You should paint the block grey. It will look cleaner, plus it’ll cover up the carnage.
lollol, go get BK bitch
my first motor build was painted, i didnt care for it and it didnt last. I like a natural look so thats y its getting blasted with glass and then powdered clear so it wont oxidize. Also you wont ever see the carnage with the motor mount and timing covers bolted on
Lol sorry seemed fitting.
:rofl
will youre other motor, turbo set up be going in this one?
Thing is gonna be plain silly with that kind of power.
It did really well on the street before, hooked third 99% of the time on 460 wheel
Got my trans cases back from Powder Tech the other day and put her together yesterday with Fly Bry
Taking it apart to put the syncro tech syncros on
Cleaned the main shaft and other parts
Pressed everything back together
Then assembled
Going to be nicer than when it came out of the factory.
good work
