1999 GMC Sierra Extended Cab Part out

Pm sent

If Jon doesn’t take it I might need a few parts off of it.

So your going to waste time and money getting you to the truck. Then money to drive it to the scrap yard… just to loose $150-200 more? Its probably worth $300.

The motor alone would sell for $450-500 in a weeks time. Trans another $300 easy, rear end maybe another $200 to someone building a jeep or something.

Srs though, I need the tailgate, both doors, and the bench seat in the front if it has one.

FUCK the doors are different extended piece of shit mother of fuck.

I don’t think his dad really wants to get rid of it. I looked at it on Monday and offered to purchase it, but he said he might keep it. Not really sure what’s going on.

Hasn’t gotten back to me yet on what he’s doing with it I’m going over on Saturday and should have an answer

If I remember right his dad lives around the corner from my house so getting to it wouldnt be an issue and if I wanted to be a cheap fuck Id have somebody follow me in my company vehicle and use company gas to drive it, costing me nothing.

A truck should be worth over $500 in scrap. Some guys are paying over $300 and making a profit junking cars. This truck probably weighs over 5k pounds.

To me a 150k motor is worthless and I dont have an engine hoist or a place to work on/part out a truck so Id take quick and easy money over a week’s work.

$0.125 per lb I just called freedman’s $687 if it still has a cat and radiator and weighs 5500lbs

that motor is easy $400-500+

$70 for a cat at scrap
$20 for a rad at scrap
$10 for a battery at scrap
$70 for engine wiring harness
$50 for ecu

#4000lbs left over @ $0.125 = $500

$1420 on the low side worth in parts and scrap
-$500 cost of truck

$920 profit for a little work (hell spend $100 and buy a new engine lift for that).

1.5hrs to pull motor, trans, front clip, ecu, wiring, front clip. (my brother and did that on my 99 2500HD to get my 6.0l 4l80e).

Still have nowhere to disassemble a truck so Id take the $187 for doing absolutely nothing.

Got 25 more than jellies for it.

this attitude wont get you very far…not surprised with the response.

I already have two vehicles in the driveway, dont have room in the garage and a truck wont fit in the yard so I cant play chop shop here and honestly have no desire to.
