Nobody is going to win.
There will still be violence in the middle east.
More lives lost.

I am sure we are there to steal the oil but the American people will NEVER see a dime or less of a fuel cost…and not to mention Bush and his family are “oil” investors so why should they give a shit if oil price goes up? They dont because they are aways making money.

Its the same thing with our oil reserves in the US and shit thta people talk about saying “We have enough oil to never use the middle east and save on gas prices”. everyone is paying $3 per gallon now. Why would a company drop the price to $2 and lose the billions of revenue they are making?

Eactly. That is why we need to stay out of shit that doesnt concern us and stop putting this overwhelming “threat on america” bull shit and work on getting our own economy solid and make us less dependent on the middle east and other countries.
when the war first started there was a major increase in gas prices by almost a dolar a gal maybe even closer to a buck and a half. we HAVE to use forign oil to fuel our troops. how much fuel do you think the troops use? It has to come from somewhere. If we were cut off from fuel/oil in the middle east we would be fucked. more than anything that is what this war is about. do you really think the government would release reserves for the public? hell no it would be for the military. I forget but about a year ago somebody posted “a collapse is near” I think there is some truth to that.
I wonder if a dropping economy is part of the “master plan” to bring business back to the states.
edit: and another thing. I think the military is doing a damn good job protecting us as a country. When is the last time you went somewhere and feared for your life? When is the last time you wernt sure if you would have a meal. The biggest concern i’ve had is a slipping transmission on one of my 3 cars.
This is a worthless thread, it’s never going to stop. Nobody can do a thing about it.
oh man…I like to ignore it, cause there is little I can do. So F’in retarded for us to be doing that. How about help out your own country with that money, instead of flexing military muscle, while running around kickin ass. We need to chill a little.

Come on. Spending that much for a war is SO MUCH more important than helping counties and cities in debt, provide funding for schools, help cut college costs by providing more grants and scholarships, or even creating more public works projects to provide more jobs.
Even the war is bullshit and we shouldn’t be there, I do have the up most respect for anyone over there fighting…
