well im thinking about doing the Ko4 turbo’s on my 2000 A6 any thoughts? i started doing other small things like the dv’s and im still debating on what chip to get thoughts on that would be great. also any other upgrades. im looking for a resonable exhaust but somthing that sounds good. i love the car but i want a little more out of it. its a 2000 A6 2.7t 6 speed.

If you still have stock turbo’s and they are good, just chip it and be done with it until the blow. Also I still have those downpipes if you were interested.
i think this question may be better suited for the guys on the dubs in the buff site, more audi knowledge over there

always been curious since aiman. What exactly constitutes a blown turbo(s) on a 2.7 (bi)turbo audi?
im not sure, i was told by a few people to put Ko4’s on because they were better… my turbos seem find the car boosts good… i just want a quicker car.

Feel free to come by my shop this week, and we can talk at length about the various mods available for your car. I currently work on about a dozen 2.7t cars, and am always willing to take on more.

I’ve been lucky so far, but I also baby them for the most part.
I thought I’d just wait for a good deal on K04s to pop up and grab them for the future but I think they’re still on short supply worldwide so prices won’t drop for a while, if ever.
Want to take me for a ride along someday so I can see how they feel?
garret offers turbos for the audi S line now. that wodl definately be something to look into. they are soposed to out flow the audi units.

Sure, I am going to have the car out tonight. I will be at the Bubble Tea meet later.
Also if I were to do it all over again, I think I would have gone with the Garrett turbo’s, just food for thought.
my giac dealer in colorado runs twin gt-28s on his 2.7 for his daily, if you go that route he can definately get you the software for low 11’s
01AudiS4, what turbos you have on your car? ive always liked that version of the S4.
ive never really liked the K03 on anything… too small. always seems to pop but thats when turned up more or less.
