As sad as it is for these young people to have gotten killed, I have no sympathy for them due to the nature of their lifestyles. Newman honestly said it best, without sounding racist or discriminate…white people need to stop trying to act black. You cannot expect a group of white kids to fit in to a culture of predominantly black citizens without there being racial tensions, feuds and ultimately violence.
When you play with fire, you eventually get burned. These kids got involved with the wrong people (a decision they made by themselves) and ultimately paid the price.
She acts like a wigger, yes. Has pics of herself smoking weed, yes. But to be shot and killed is still shitty. Most people snap out of that phase in their lives when they mature and realize how stupid they acted. Maybe she had no show parents.

There’s as much compassion as there would be with hearing another random death I didn’t know or care about. No one deserves to die like that, especially at a young age but when their actions lead to their deaths…don’t look at me to feel sorry for them.

Whether or not she deserved it depends on which side of the bars you are on.

There are lots of super violent white people in the city, too. Kids in derby really just don’t know what they’re getting in to. It’s as simple as that.
When you grow up in derby, as hard as you think you are, you’re likely to be fundamentally different from someone who DID grow up hard in the city. It’s just totally different. These tough kids from the suburbia THINK they can identify, but I don’t think they fully grasp it.
And I’m not trying to say that I grasp it, either, because I do not. But I do know that my outlook on things was a LOT different before I moved to the city a few years ago. I thought I knew everything then, but now I know that I STILL know nothing.

As someone who lived in Derby for a short while, I can honestly say (most) Derby folk I encountered are in a world all their own…totally clueless about the real world out there. I have family there and they’re even “weird”.

And the girl who put the dude behind bars is the one who was killed. She had a hit out on her, from what I’ve heard. The guy who got killed was living in Derby with his girlfriend. They happen to be out there because he lives on the street where this all occurred. Hence why people from Derb were in Ruff Buff.

this is not a sad story. this is idiot kids doing stupid shit- and you should not feel sorry for them. the other girl caldwell killed her baby becuase she got high and rolled over on it when she had it on the bed with her.
