Bump
Had an offer of 7k last night, but with 3 other people waiting to see it and the CL add only being up 24 hours to take a chance on turning it down.
This is going just about the opposite of my snowmobile sale attempt.
SOLD
For asking price. Guessing I should have asked more based on the number of emails, txts and phone calls I got.
Sea trial contingent deposit already placed on it’s replacement.
With how you keep that boat, and present it, I’m not surprised.
So, what’s next?
Glad to hear you got your asking - I always thought boats were really tough to sell…
Boats are pretty popular in WNY.
I think this one being a one owner boat that had always been kept on a trailer in a garage was the big selling point. The boat still looks new inside and out. I had a few calls where the guys would ask about who maintained it and when I said I did all the work myself they’d ask a few questions about winterizing etc and when I rattled off all the right answers they were like, “when can I come see it!”
Shitty old boats are a tough sell. Newer reliable boats are a great buy.
Expensive boats are a tough sell too, this one was at a low price point and in great shape. No surprise it went quick.
