2000 Integra GSR project

On a GSR with boltons yes

So over the weekend I, along with LKSwhy?, b-ri, and b-ri’s dad put on my new suspension… not sure what i would have done without any help :ahh As most of you know im new to tuning cars… so im not really good at doing the work yet. But what i thought would have taken at make 5 hours… took 14. Unfortunately pretty much all of the bolts were rusted. A few of them broke and alot of them just wouldnt come out. Fortunately we had all the right tools and B-ri’s dad was able to heat up any bolts that wouldnt come out. Another problem we ran into was that the upper control arms wouldnt clear the wheel :headbang well because the owner before me already had camber adjustable bolts… sooo we spent a few hours trying to get it to work but just ended up leaving the original upper control arm. In the rear, the sway bar was just a complete POS so we just left it out. But enough bitching… the suspension is sick. The coilovers have 32 damper settings. I put it on 22 and its working well, it handles about ten times better. Today i was fortunate enough to get off work because of the morning rain… so i picked up the comptech exhaust and the aem intake from synapse ;D so im going to go over to LKSwhy?'s house now to put all that shit on so wish me luck :ohnoes… once we finish il take some pictures and post them up :benny

Nice work… Put up them pics!

We just got done with the V2 intake install. Its the sickest sounding intake I’ve ever heard and was totally worth all the problems. Car chirps 3rd now hahaha. We had to work around the previous owner’s SICK aftermarket horn install that was right in the way of the intake and on the test drive the car threw a CEL. We diagnosed it as code 22- Vtec oil pressure or something. After checking and double checking everything on the solenoid and the wiring, I decided to reset the ECU. So we did and the CEL went away immediately. Comptech exhaust will be installed later this week. :runaway

:gay

LKSwhy? and me are going to put on the exhaust tonight… :ohnoes hopefully everything goes well but wel see about that. I have the kteller hytech replica header coming in tommorow so hopefully i will be able to put that on sometime soon. Pictures will probably get posted tonight of the work done so far. :thumb

Why not quit being noobs and put the header and exhaust on together?

exhaust will have to be cut to fit the header… since we nor the shop doing the cutting/re-welding know exactly how much needs to be cut out, we are throwing the exhaust on so when he gets the header they will know how much to cut ;D

Just a reminder although the CEL went away, it will take up to 100 miles for it to reappear if the problem is still there

thats good to know… thanks man

Is that you in your avatar? WTF is going on there?

yeah dude that’s him, jumping out of a dumpster throwing a huge dildo at someone. :ohnoes

really clean

haha no thats not me

:sad

The hytec replica header is a very agressive n/a header even if it is the production header. Makes sure you get the header welded so it doesnt leak. Also if you havent ordered it yet you can pick them up for a little less on honda-tech. Other than that goodluck looks like a nice build man. Take her to test and tune!!!lol

Wait what?
